Open dataset perfect for mapping Country name to ISO 2-char Country code. The dataset counts with various names and forms of country names, with or without official country title and with or without diacritics.
The main reason is to translate Country Name to ISO Country Code, because country code is internationally unique.
This dataset was created by CDS as a side product during creating reports.
Included fields are
Forms of country names, Country Name (usual), 2char country code, Possible mismatch
